Personal story

During my exchange in Singapore, I realised that working experience is an incredible valuable attribution during your bachelor. When I returned to Amsterdam, I decided to postpone finishing my BSc International Business & Finance and started an internship at ABN AMRO MeesPierson instead. This experience was a good insight on how the financial world works and taught me the basics of working in a corporate environment. A board year at the FSA offers me excellent networking opportunities and more enhanced practical skills. Before entering the labour market, I want to develop myself personally and prepare myself professionally. This is all possible with the professional position the FSA has in the financial industry. The many leading partners are connected to the FSA for the same reason I am; working on the best events with top students will provide you with priceless lessons. Fulfilling the function of Treasurer uplifts my numerical skills, while the responsibilities challenge me on a whole new level. Besides the financial responsibility, the well diversified portfolio of projects will reveal interesting fields of the fast-changing finance world.
