Over the course of three days, all aspects of Strategy Consulting will be discussed during visits to three leading consultancy firms. Your analytical and social skills will be put to the test under supervision of some of the best consultants in the field. You will be asked to analyse complex issues by solving several cases. Every day will be concluded with drinks and a dinner and lots of networking opportunities! During the event, you will stay in a hotel in Amsterdam. Previous to the three in-house days, you will be brought up to speed on consulting by a training from Oliver Wyman.
Who are we looking for
This project is designed for students from all disciplines in the final stage of their Bachelor or Master’s study, with an interest in (Strategy) Consulting. For this event, fluency in Dutch is required.
Consultition is a multi-day event. Participants will spend the nights after each in-house day in a hotel located in the centre of Amsterdam. Applying for single in-house days is not possible.
The days are divided as follows in the 2020 edition:
31 January – Kickoff: Case training from 3 pm till 6 pm
11 February – Strategy&
12 February – Bain & Company
13 February – BCG
During each inhouse day, you will visit one of the three strategy consultants. The consultants will give presentations about their companies, provide challenging cases and tell you all about a career within strategy consultancy. Every day will be concluded with drinks and a dinner.

A paper version of your list of grades (can also be certified) can be requested at the Central Student Service Desk or your Education Desk by presenting your ID card.
Log on to vunet.vu.nl and go to ‘results’ (of ; resultaten’). In the top right corner you can select ‘PDF’. Choose all your studies (BSc, MSc). You do not have to select your ‘mid term marks’ or insufficient marks. To proceed click export.

In order to view and download your grades go to OSIRIS via Brightspace. When you are in the OSIRIS environment, click on ‘Progress’ in the menu on the left side of the page. Click on one of the first two tabs, ‘Study progress review’ or ‘File overview’. Here you can click on ‘Download’ in order to get a downloaded pdf version of your grades.
