Governmental Economics Tour

Are you interested in solving complex and broad problems with both political and economic aspects? Do you have the ambition to work in an international environment? Apply to the Governmental Economics Tour.


The Governmental Economics Tour is an event that consists of three days. On March 9, 10 and 11, we will be visiting economical regulators on a national and international level. You will be given interactive presentations together with real life, complex cases in which you get the chance to show your abilities to the participating organizations. You will also get the chance to talk to experts in an informal way during drinks and lunches.

For whom

Dutch speaking students in the final stage of their Bachelor’s or Master’s studies with an interest in economics, finance and politics.

The Governmental Economics Tour is free of charge!


The Governmental Economics Tour consists of three days. The program of the 2020 edition will be as follows:

Monday – March 9 – Amsterdam
Morning:  DNB (including lunch)
Afternoon: Autoriteit Financiële Markten (including drinks)

Tuesday – March 10 – The Hague & Brussels
Morning: Ministerie van Financiën (Including lunch)
Afternoon: Bus trip towards Brussels & Dinner in Brussels

— Overnight stay in Brussels, accomodation will be provided —

Wednesday – March 11 – Brussels
Morning: Permanent Representation of the Netherlands in the EU (PVEU)
Afternoon: Single Resolution Board (SRB)
Evening: Bus trip back to Amsterdam
