Equity Analyst Software/IT Services
NIBC is strengthening its Equity Research Team and is looking for a Software/IT services Equity Research Analyst to provide original and independent research on a fast growing base of Tech related stocks in Europe. This research will be used to service our European-wide investor client base as well as building relationships with corporates.
NIBC’s corporate finance capital markets business unit and more specifically the Equities division sees material opportunities in this segment for fee generating business. As a result, Equities is looking for an equity research analyst Software/IT Services
What will you do?
By performing bottom up and out of the box research, analyzing company data and sector trends, having regular meetings with listed and non-listed companies’ senior management teams and industry specialists, the Equity Research Analyst generates articulated opinions on the Software/IT Services stocks covered and the underlying industry trends. These opinions are communicated through reports, regular updates, presentations and other means to both internal and external clients.
The equity analyst will work within the Corporate Finance Capital Markets franchise including Equity Sales, ECM and Corporate Banking. The Equity Research analyst drives understanding on company specifics and sector trends through personal meetings with, – and regular update calls to, – international institutional investors.

What will you need?
- A Master degree in a scientific or financial field. Basic knowledge of financial analysis and valuation methodologies is a necessity. Having started CFA, RBA or similar qualification will be a plus
- Good analytical and communications skills, excellent English (written and spoken)
- Show an affinity for financial markets
- The ability to work independently but thrive in a team setting
- A strong drive to perform thorough analysis including conclusions with actionable commercial strategies
- Experience with the usual MS tools to manage reports, presentations and financial models, as well as effectively communicate the conclusions
