Programme overview:

Internships are a great opportunity to experience first-hand the possibilities of a career in banking. It is your chance to get a feel for our culture, create new networks and gain valuable on-the-job training. Internships are also the perfect preparation for a subsequent full time role. Nomura will extend full time offers to strong performers.

Throughout the year, Nomura offers talented and ambitious students in the final phase / pen-ultimate year of their studies the opportunity to excel during a full-time internship in our Amsterdam office. Our team is focused on the Benelux market covering all industries. During this 3 month internship you will work closely with our bankers, based both in London and Amsterdam, on several projects. As an intern you will perform in-depth analysis of companies and industries, getting familiar with financial modelling and different valuation techniques.

What’s your role?

Investment Banking summer interns can be placed in any one of these teams during the internship:

Mergers & Acquisitions: Nomura’s M&A teams advise clients on buying, selling and merging all or parts of public and private companies. M&A deal teams work with other banking colleagues who have either country or industry expertise to manage and negotiate deals.

Corporate Finance Advisory: Sector and country coverage professionals are critical in identifying and analysing deal opportunities and managing client relationships. The ideas generated can have a tremendous impact on a sector.
