Partners in Equity (“PiE”) is a privately owned impact investment firm based in Amsterdam. PiE invests in venture capital to support teams who push boundaries, show results and make a difference by creating sustainable businesses. PiE has the approach that business should be a catalyst for positive change and a builder of sustainable ecosystems. PiE invests mainly in impact venture capital funds, but also has a portfolio of direct VC investments. The investment focus is Agritech, Edtech and Healthcare. Investments are mainly in Europe, with a global outlook.

The Associate has a lot of responsibility and will be involved in potential investment opportunities and the management of portfolio companies and funds. Tasks will include amongst others:
− Analysis of market trends within the three strategic sectors.
− Evaluating new leads and follow-on investments in funds and direct investments.
− Performing financial and market analysis, due diligence and preparing investment proposals.
− Coordinating the workstreams within the investment process.
− Portfolio management including evaluating and monitoring the overall performance and risk profile of portfolio companies and funds as well as managing cash flows.
− Ongoing relationship management with portfolio companies and funds.
The ideal candidate
− 2-3 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting, M&A, transaction services, private equity, venture capital, investment banking or an entrepreneurial setting.
− Experience in delivering projects end-to-end and is used to working with deadlines.
− Broad sector and industry experience, has an affinity for new technological trends.
− Excellent academic record with a MSc in business administration, economics, (sustainable) financeor a technical degree, e.g. engineering, biotechnology or med-tech.
− Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Other languages are a plus.
