With a well-developed industrial base and strategic location, Kenya is an attractive destination for exporters and investors. The country boasts a diverse economy, entrepreneurial workforce, comprehensive air routes, and status as a regional financial hub. According to the World Bank’s “Ease of Doing Business Index,” Kenya has made significant improvements in recent years, climbing 80 places to rank 56th globally. Furthermore, the government’s implementation of business reforms, such as simplifying the process of starting a business, improving access to electricity, and streamlining the process of registering property, has helped to address issues such as corruption and policy inconsistencies. As a result, businesses operating in Kenya can feel confident in the supportive and stable business environment that the country has to offer. Lastly, Kenya has also attracted a strong influx of foreign direct investment, particularly in renewable energy projects, making it an exciting market with a great deal of potential for growth and success.

The government is highly invested in advancing the tourism industry, and there are numerous opportunities for businesses to get involved in the sector, whether through building hotels and resorts, or offering tour and travel services. Finally, the financial sector in Kenya is well-developed, with a number of banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions operating in the country.
