Mentha is a private equity firm focusing on profitable SMEs headquartered in the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark characterised by sustainable growth opportunities, both organically and through buy-and-build and internationalisation. More specifically, partnerships are entered into with inspired management teams of companies with an EBITDA of €2m to €15m, mostly within the focus areas of technology, business services, consumer, health & wellbeing and advanced manufacturing. Internship description
We are continuously looking for talent with the Mentha DNA to support the investment team during a five-month (minimum) internship. From day one you will be given a lot of responsibility and you will be involved in potential investment opportunities, the current portfolio companies and market research. You will work closely with colleagues in various small teams, so that you can immediately add value and your development is optimally stimulated.
Vacancy
The ideal candidate would be a master’s or third-year bachelor’s student, who has a broad interest in companies and people, is enterprising, eager to learn, and has strong communication and analytical skills. We are looking for authentic and motivated talents who can support their own personal story with extracurricular activities and/or hobbies, and who have a broad interest in the combination of finance, strategy and people. As we look at the total picture, previous internship experience in PE, M&A, and/or strategy consulting is an advantage, but not a requirement. It is required to be fully proficient in both Dutch and English.
Start date & duration
we accept internships throughout the year on a rolling basis. The duration of an internship is 5 months and is fulltime.
