This privacy policy sets out how the Financial Study association Amsterdam (FSA) uses and protects any information that you provide the FSA when you become a member. By becoming a member, you agree to this privacy policy and you allow the FSA to store your data. The FSA is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected by current law (General Data Protection Regulation).

  1. Information
    1.1  FSA documents the information you give us about yourself when you become a member. Details submitted by you are then under the responsibility of FSA.
    1.2 The Financial Study association Amsterdam is authorized to provide your details to carefully selected organizations which we think will meet your needs and interests. By applying for one of our events, you agree that we will share your resume, personal details, transcript and/or motivation letter with the participating companies of the particular event.
    1.3 The data is used for the following reasons: internal record keeping, improving our services, periodically send commercial or promotional emails or other information which could be interesting for you. You could be contacted per email or phone. The bank account is used to collect the payment of our annual membership fee.
    1.4 The data is stored for the time that you are studying, with a maximum of ten years. We will store your data that you provide us through the application form until you determine your membership or upon the age of 29. When you apply for one of our events, we will store your resume, transcripts and/or motivation letter for a year. If you want to determine your membership earlier or if you want your data to be deleted, please send an e-mail to vice-president@fsa.nl.

2. Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

3. FSA and other websites
Our website contains links to websites of our partners. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over the other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.
