This privacy policy sets out how the Financial Study association Amsterdam (FSA) uses and protects any information that you provide the FSA when you become a member. By becoming a member, you agree to this privacy policy and you allow the FSA to store your data. The FSA is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected by current law (General Data Protection Regulation).

FSA documents the information you give us about yourself when you become a member. Details submitted by you are then under the responsibility of FSA. We require this information to understand your needs, to recognize our members and to provide you with a better service. Moreover, we will use your data for the following reasons: internal record keeping, improving our services, periodically send commercial or promotional emails or other information which we think you might find interesting. We may contact you by email or phone. We use your bank account to register and collect the payment of our annual membership fee. By applying for one of our events, you agree that we will share your resume, transcripts and/or motivation letter with the participating companies of that particular event. FSA will ensure save transfer to the recipient. After transfer, the privacy policy of the recipient is applicable. If you would like to see your data removed by the participating companies, please notify their privacy officer. We can assist you with the contact details.

We store your data for the time that you are studying, with a maximum of ten years. We will store your data that you provide us through the application form until you determine your membership or upon the age of 29. When you apply for one of our events, we will store your resume, transcripts and/or motivation letter for a year.
