Arcola is an entrepreneurial private equity firm based on the Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. We focus on building market-leading companies in the Benelux SME segment, investing in profitable businesses (EUR 1.0M – EUR 5.0M EBITDA) with strong quality of revenues, defensible margins, and clear growth potential. Our sectors of interest include consumer health, industrial products, technology, and B2B services — markets where we can create real value through hands-on support, professionalization, and strategic M&A. What makes Arcola unique is our deal-by-deal investment model. For every transaction, we partner with experienced investors who bring not just capital, but relevant sector expertise and networks. This approach enables fast, focused execution, with a highly committed group of decision-makers around the table.

We’ve demonstrated our ability to create value through several successful investments:

Healthcare Brands Group (HBG): a fast-growing house of consumer health brands with a strong e-commerce foundation. Since our initial investment, we have accelerated growth through product innovation, channel expansion, and operational improvements — and have completed three add-on acquisitions this year.
Straatweg Group: a leading manufacturer of high-quality, sustainable packaging components, serving international customers in food, pharma, and chemicals. We are supporting Straatweg in scaling its commercial footprint, professionalizing its operations, and executing targeted acquisitions to broaden its end-market reach.
Our third platform investment (closing June 2025): an exciting opportunity in a structurally growing market. We’re already preparing the first add-on acquisitions, and we’re looking for reinforcements to help us accelerate integration and value creation from the outset.
