CANCELLATION POLICY

1.1 The FSA applies a penalty policy for all events.

1.1.1 By signing up for an event, you agree to this penalty policy and commit to participation.

1.1.2 The FSA determines whether you have met the criteria that apply to this penalty policy. If so, you agree to pay the resulting penalty fee.

1.1.3 The penalty policy applies to all activities of the FSA.

1.1.4 The penalty policy works as follows:

  • 1.1.4.1 In case of cancellation at least four working days before the event, you will not be fined. Note: only cancellations made before 17:00 are accepted.
  • 1.1.4.2 In case of cancellation less than four working days before the start of the event, you will be charged a fine of €25.00.
  • 1.1.4.3 In case of a no-show without cancellation, you will be charged a fine of €50.00.
  • 1.1.4.4 Cancellation is only possible by sending an email to the address used in correspondence for that specific event, with the subject: “Cancellation Activity X.”

1.1.5 By agreeing to this penalty policy, you authorize the FSA to automatically withdraw the penalty fine from the bank account you provided on the application form.

1.2 The FSA applies a banlist policy for all events.

1.2.1 By signing up for an event, you agree to this banlist policy and commit to participation.

1.2.2 The FSA determines whether you have met the criteria that apply to this banlist policy.

1.2.3 The banlist policy applies to all activities of the FSA.

1.2.4 The banlist policy works as follows:

  • 1.2.4.1 In case of cancellation at least four working days before the event, you will not be placed on the banlist. Note: only cancellations made before 17:00 are accepted.
  • 1.2.4.2 In case of cancellation less than four working days before the start of the event, you will be placed on the banlist.
  • 1.2.4.3 In case of a no-show without cancellation, you will be placed on the banlist.
  • 1.2.4.4 Cancellation is only possible by sending an email to the address used in correspondence for that specific event, with the subject: “Cancellation Activity X.”

1.2.5 The consequences of the banlist are:

  • 1.2.5.1 Exclusion from participation in all future FSA events.
  • 1.2.5.2 Transmission of your personal details to the participating companies, with a statement explaining the reason for the late cancellation.
  • 1.2.5.3 The FSA cannot guarantee the impact that transmission of personal details due to the banlist arrangement might have on a potential application procedure at the participating companies of this event.

1.3 There is no opportunity to discuss the amount of the fine, whether or not the fine will be withdrawn, or whether or not a student will be placed on the banlist.

1.4 Transmission of your personal details to the participating companies will include a statement explaining the reason for the late cancellation of your participation.

1.5 The FSA cannot be held responsible for the consequences that the aforementioned actions might have on a potential application procedure at the participating companies.

1.6 In case of unforeseen circumstances resulting in absence from the activity, you should contact the FSA within 7 days from the day of your activity.
