An important part of my board year was finding out where my interests are. My position as external relations gave me an insight in different companies in different sectors. Partly because of the projects that I coordinated, my interest in Corporate Finance and M&A grew. The London Banking Tour eventually convinced me to apply for a position in Investment Banking, which lead to my current position at Barclays.
