Trading Project 2024-2025

We are excited to inform you about our upcoming Trading Project, an event that promises a deep dive into the innovative world of trading. Scheduled for February 3 & 4, 2025, this exclusive two-day event offers a fantastic opportunity for students from economic, business, finance and STEM fields to explore the trading industry and connect with some of the top firms in the sector.

What to Expect

• Gain valuable insights into commodity and high-frequency trading.
• Participate in interactive sessions and network with top industry professionals from the leading firms CrossOptions, DaVinci, STX, and ACT—all based in Amsterdam.
• Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the dynamic trading environment with visits to these companies’ offices.
• Both days will take place from 09:00 – 18:00, including lunches and networking drinks.

Program

Day 1 – February 3rd, 2025: Dive into the world of commodity trading with ACT Commodities and STX Group.
Day 2 – February 4th, 2025: Discover the fast-paced realm of high-frequency trading with Da Vinci and Cross Options.

Who Can Join? 

This event is open to final-year bachelor’s and master’s students from all studies, so don’t hesitate to apply even if you’re unsure whether your background aligns perfectly with trading. Everyone is welcome to explore this opportunity! Dutch proficiency is not required.

Application Process

Applications are open from December 9 to January 19. To apply, please submit a single PDF file containing your CV. After applying, you will receive a survey via email that must be completed to finalize your application. It’s important to complete both steps to ensure your application is processed.
